K Hitch manufacture two basic types of fifth wheels;
- a
two piece non adjustable jaw model

a one piece adjustable jaw model
Both are fully fabricated and CNC machined.
- The
two piece non adjustable fifth wheel is available with various
D ratings from 174kn to 240kn.Jaw sizes including 50mm,
75mm and 90mm. Standard, narrow or wide with grease or Greaseless
tops.
- The
one piece adjustable model is available with a D rating
of 195kn making it suitable for applications ranging from
single trailer through to Triple Road Train (including volume
loading). Jaw size is 50mm with a 90mm option also now available.Top
width is standard 915mm wide with extra wide option of 1015mm,
- Available
in Grease or Greaseless.
- Fitted
with a quick release handle which ensures a prime mover
can be uncoupled from its trailer simply, quickly and safely.
- For
added safety, K Hitch fifth wheels are designed with a spring
loaded safety latch ensuring they cannot be accidently disengaged
when correctly coupled.
- K Hitch
fifth wheels requiring greasing are designed with easy access
to all greasing points whether the trailer is hitched or
unhitched. Each comes with grease lines and grease nipples
to all moving parts.
